On November 5, 2023, at 3:23 p.m., during a ticket check on the S-Bahn S2 (train no.: 38238) between Limburgerhof station and Haßloch station, coercion and insults occurred to the detriment of a train attendant. During the ticket inspection, the inspector used his checking device to determine that a man’s job ticket had expired. The man then wanted his ticket and his residence permit back and became violent. During the verbal argument, the perpetrator tore his DB ID card and his tie from the train attendant’s shirt. It was only when three unknown witnesses intervened on the S-Bahn and then on platform 2 at Haßloch train station that the unknown perpetrator dropped the train conductor’s ID card and tie and left the station before the police.
