The Golden Cross Cyclocross Sunday in Dublin is on the program. A day earlier, the riders compete against each other in Kortrijk, for a round of the X20 Bathrooms Trophy. With the Golden Cross you can virtually put together your dream team and have a chance to win great prizes thanks to HLN.
Just like last year, Dublin is organizing a World Cup round. The first edition was a success story, because no fewer than 8,000 spectators saw Fem van Empel and Wout van Aert – in his first cross of the season – make the victory gesture. The cyclo-cross caravan must move from Kortrijk to the capital of Ireland in less than a day this weekend. A logistical challenge, but several riders will still appear at the start in both cyclo-cross races.

How do you participate in the Golden Cross?
Step 1: Surf to goldencross.be and create an account.
Step 2: Put together your ideal cross team. Your team consists of 13 cyclo-cross riders (9 elites, 3 ladies and 1 promise) who fit within a budget of 275 million euros. So careful consideration is the message.
Step 3: Is your cross team ready to take to the field? Then you just have to appoint a super leader. That super leader can earn you extra points on the match day in question. Of course you can change the super leader at every cross.
Step 4: Confirm your participation by paying 9.99 euros per team. Please note, teams only really participate once payment has been received.
Step 5: Get ready for an epic cross season and guide your team to great prizes. After each cyclocross you can view the scores of your team(s) on goldencross.be and discover whether you have won a prize.
