“We don’t know if we will catch Sevilla FC alive”

The Commercial Court No. 2 rejects the precautionary measures that the former president requested to vote at the General Meeting of Shareholders

MADRID, 30 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The lawyer José María del Nido Benavente, former president of Sevilla FC and aspiring to return to his presidency, stated this Thursday that the Seville club “is bleeding” after the Commercial Court No. 2 has rejected the precautionary measures that Del himself Nido had requested to vote at the next General Shareholders’ Meeting.

“Unfortunately we have not been granted precautionary measures to vote at the next General Shareholders’ Meeting and we do not know if we will take Sevilla FC alive,” commented Del Nido from his official account on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

“The current squatters”, in reference to the current members of the Sevilla board, “have requested a loan of 107 million euros, mortgaging the television rights for the viability of the entity,” he continued.

In this sense, Del Nido said that “the concern is enormous” and that for this reason “Sevilla FC cannot wait.” “The squatters’ pockets hurt, Sevilla FC hurts me,” he added. “The fans have spoken: wanting to know the opinion of the Carrión, Alés and Guijarro families,” he concluded.
