‘Our last chords’ is the name of the last tour of Andy y Lucas with four concerts in which “there will be no shortage” of their hits, they announced this Thursday in a press conference that took place at the facilities of the Society of Performing Artists of Spain (AIE).
The tour will begin at Gran Teatro Falla de Cádiz on April 20, because it is his hometown. On April 27 they will be at the Sant Jordi Club of Barcelona and the 30th in Seville, in the Cartuja Center. It will end on May 13 at the Wizink Center in Madrid, a place that, as they themselves have stressed, they had “never” visited.
It will be from 12 in the morning on November 24 when the Appetizer of these concerts, which arise after the announcement a few days ago that the duo, who have been together for 20 years, are separating due to Lucas’ heart disease.
“We did not separate as a musical couple”Andy explained to the media, while commenting that his partner cannot keep up with the frenetic pace of life they have led until now, something they wanted to confirm by carrying a medical report in their hands that they encouraged the press to photograph.
They have also emphasized that, in principle, This will be his last tour, but they do not rule out that if Lucas recovers “we can come back one day”, so “it hasn’t occurred to us to do nothing separately -he said-“, at least for the moment.
They have explained that it may seem surprising that they retire at such a young age with 20 years of musical career, but that “surely” the two will continue “linked to music” because it is what they are “passionate about.”
For his part, Lucas has pointed out that, during that time in which they no longer do concerts, they can “compose the two together” and make “a calmer album” in which “work little by little” and calmer “without everything being so robotic.”
