It’s no secret that a surname like Wembanyama is special to the NBA, both for the player it represents and for the great challenge it poses for Americans to pronounce it.
But it seems that the Spurs also have problems with everything that has to do with their young star, since Victor Wembanyama had to play with a typo in his game against the Golden State Warriors.
Instead of the usual spelling, the back of his shirt read “Wembanyana.” The error, an anecdote that was resolved almost immediately, since the Frenchman put on a correct shirt during the first half of the match.
