Venezuelan U17 Basketball Team Advances to Final After Defeating Brazil

Caracas.- This Sunday from the city of Valledupar, Colombia, the Venezuelan basketball team defeated the Brazilian team in the semifinals with a score of 79×61 to advance to the final of the U17 Sub-American Tournament.

With these results, the Creole team qualified to participate in the Fiba Under 18 Americas Championship that will be held in 2024.

During the match against the Amazonian squad, Venezuela offered a game with a very good effectiveness of 50% by achieving 14 triples in 28 attempts.

From the beginning of the match the Venezuelans prevailed, however Brazil managed to respond to leave the score in their favor 20×18, the Venezuelans managed to regain the advantage ending the second quarter with a score of 39×31, the third remained the same with 49 x49.
