“For the trial period, we have attracted a relatively young and talented player, who became available at the time when “Scafati” attracted Jānis Strēlniekus. From the beginning of the preparation cycle, our team had several injuries, which affected the initial composition and the distribution of players’ roles on the field. Consequently, several players have to play outside their usual position, that’s why we actively looked for an addition in the position of point guard, where currently only Brendan Adams basically plays,” explains “VEF Riga” president Gatis Jahovičs.
