I already believed in the third one,” explained the twenty-five-year-old quarterback. “Nowadays, it is very difficult to get through from the blue when the goalkeeper can see without someone passing by and making it difficult for him to see,” he continued afterwards.
He sent a total of seven shots at goalkeeper Sedláček for the match, which is an unusually high number for a defender. “I generally try to shoot a lot with the idea that it might fall over there. Today, there was also a lot of space for the blue team, although the home team tried to block shots. However, I think that I already had a few duels with more shooting attempts,” he said.

However, he is not considered a shooter. “The last time I scored a hat trick was when I was sixteen in the Pardubice junior team under coaches Zadina and Král,” he recalled. But his role in our team still remains different. I would like it to keep falling into his goal like this, but it probably won’t work like that in the long term,” said Varaďa.
