UEFA Sanctions PSG for Use of Smoke Bombs at Parc des Princes

UEFA has decided to sanction Paris Saint-Germain. The use of smoke bombs at the Parc des Princes during the AC Milan reception on October 25 (3-0) triggered a disciplinary case by the European body. The verdict fell this Friday evening and the UEFA disciplinary committee sanctioned PSG by deciding to order the closure of the Auteuil stand for one match, but with a suspended sentence.

If smoke bombs are reused within the next two years, the risk of a meeting with a partial closed session at the Parc des Princes will then be real. At the same time, the reigning French champion was ordered to pay a fine of 98,000 euros in total for the use of smoke bombs (€75,000), but also “for blocking public passages (€18,000) and invading the playing field (€5,000”as reported The Team.
