Group D standings 2023 U-17 World Cup experienced changes after Senegal and Argentina won on the second matchday match, Tuesday (14/11).

Senegal successfully continued their winning trend in the U-17 World Cup by crushing Poland 4-1 in the Group D match which was held at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, Tuesday (14/11) afternoon.

These additional three points have made Senegal successful in strengthening their position at the top of Group D with six points after winning two wins.

Meanwhile, this defeat made Poland sink further into the bottom position of Group D with zero points after always losing in two matches.

In another match in Group D, Argentina successfully beat Japan with a score of 3-1 at the Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, Tuesday (14/11) evening.

Argentina’s first win in Group D saw them move up to second place, shifting Japan’s position by scoring three points from the two matches played. Meanwhile, Japan had to drop to third place.

Argentina’s achievement of full points also gave them the opportunity to qualify for the last 16 of the 2023 U-17 World Cup.
