Regarding Tuğçe Canıtez and Bahar Çağlar Ökten ending their basketball careers, Türkoğlu said, “They provided very important services to Turkish women’s basketball. I wish both Tuğçe and Bahar had played more and benefited our national team. But we are proud of what they have done so far. I believe that their loved ones and women’s basketball fans are proud of their performance so far. “We thank them very much for their service to the national team,” he said.
