Toronto Blue Jays Interested in St. Louis Cardinals Outfielder Dylan Carlson

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the Toronto Blue Jays have interest in Cards outfielder Dylan Carlson.

Carlson, 25, has just completed his fourth season in Major League Baseball. He only played in 76 games last season due to oblique and ankle injuries. He hit for a .219 average with five home runs and 27 RBIs.

Carlson will be eligible for arbitration in 2026 and will become a free agent in 2027.

The Blue Jays and Cardinals made three trades together in 2023. Toronto obtained shortstop Paul DeJong and relievers Jordan Hicks and Genesis Cabrera from St. Louis.

The Cards are reportedly looking for pitchers.
