Former trainer and coach of Novak Djokovic, now 84 years old, Nikola Pilic denounced the media treatment of the Serbian player’s successes by the Western press.
Questioned by the media Novostithe former captain who won the Davis Cup with Germany, Croatia and Serbia even has a very recent example to give, dating back to the beginning of the week just after Nole’s seventh coronation at the Masters.

Today I received a German magazine whose cover shows Federer in a tuxedo. What is Federer doing on the front page the day after the Turin Masters? With all due respect for all he has done, he took a well-deserved retirement a year ago. It is their degradation, but it is in vain; Novak won and said ‘arrivederci’ (goodbye, editor’s note) guys.
