Franz Wagner led Orlando to victory with his personal best performance of the season. The German World Cup hero scored 30 points against the Hornets. Together with Cole Anthony, Franz was the game’s top scorer. Moritz Wagner was also successful, recording eleven points and seven rebounds.
Orlando hasn’t lost since mid-November, and with a record of 12-5, the team from Florida is in second place in the NBA’s Eastern Conference behind leaders Boston Celtics. Last Friday, Orlando even won the top game against the Celtics 113:96.
