The Taiwanese Chun-Yi Linfourth seed, beat the Spanish Pablo Abian in the first round of Badminton Core Masterswhich is disputed in Gwangju, for 21-8 y 21-14.
The match lasted thirty minutes, in which Abián had his opportunity in the second game, when he was 10-6 ahead.
But seven points in a row from Lin, world number 21, opened the doors to victory and a place in the round of 16.
