On matchday 10 there will be the German classic between Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern Munich (from 6.30 p.m. on Sky and here in the live ticker).
The top duel will also mark the return of Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel to his old place of work. He coached the black and yellow team from 2015 to 2017 and won the DFB Cup in his second year. Before the classic, ex-BVB star Michael Rummenigge (59) talks about the Bayern coach. According to the brother of Bayern boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (68), a separation was unavoidable at the time. “It just wasn’t right in the interpersonal area with Aki Watzke and Michael Zorc at the time, and if these things don’t fit, then you have to separate,” says Rummenigge in an interview with the “wettbasis.com” portal.

Tuchel is offensive – even back then in Dortmund and now at Bayern. Most recently he had a public argument with Honorary President Uli Hoeneß. In the summer, Tuchel called for a “Holding Six” (defensive six that holds the position), Hoeneß blocked it.
Rummenigge was surprised by Tuchel’s smug reaction to the Bayern boss. “Uli Hoeneß had said that there might be more in the winter or summer. And then Thomas Tuchel says, as I read it: ‘What does he mean? The liver cheese roll, or does he mean the transfer market?’ I feel like he’s become such a little joker.”
His assessment of Tuchel: He is a “own type”.
And who will prevail in the mega duel between BVB and Bayern? Rummenigge doesn’t want to commit to a winner: “It’s still such an even game at the moment and I would rather predict a draw.”
The fact is: Tuchel will be in particular focus!
