After the Philippe Chatrier court, the Suzanne Lenglen court will have a retractable roof which will also be used during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The project to extend and modernize the Roland-Garros stadium is coming to an end. The last piece of the puzzle, the retractable roof placed on the Suzanne Lenglen court, will be one of the curiosities of the next French Open (May 27-June 9). The court will be used during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games (July 26-August 11). On X, the organizers published the first photos of the court.

The architect and town planner Dominique Perrault, in charge of the project alongside French and German companies, has, on the Federation website, wished “obviously pay homage to tennis, but also to tennis from the era of Suzanne Lenglen, the 1930s, and in particular to the clothing dimension of that era».
