In a category like this against a rival like this, I think it is generating enough to have won the game. We came out stronger with this tie,” said the Asturian coach.
In that sense, Cañedo indicated that his strategy of dismantling the maroon midfield worked. “We needed to nullify Pontevedra’s interior zone, with Dálisson, Yelko and Samu. I think it is the strongest part of the rival and I think it turned out very well for us, because they practically did not create any danger between the three of us and we had options to go out and have the ball and play,” he explained.
