Charlotte Baris: 174 million euros. A colossal sum that is close to some of the biggest jackpots ever won at EuroMillions. Except that here, we are talking about an envelope which weighs every year in the budget of the French State. And the person best able to tell us about it is Eric Mandonnet, the editor-in-chief of the political department of L’Express. What exactly does this sum of 174 million per year correspond to?

Eric Mandonnet: This is quite simply the price of our government.
