The ‘Grand Départ’ returns to France after Copenhagen, Bilbao and Florence
BARCELONA, 14 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The 2025 Tour de France will start from Lille and the Northern Department of the French country, which thus recovers the ‘Grand Départ’ of its historic round after leaving from Copenhagen (Denmark), Bilbao (Spain) and Florence (Italy) — this 2024– in the latest editions.
“In 2025, the Hauts-de-France Region, the Northern Department and the European metropolis of Lille will host the start of the 112th edition of the Tour de France,” the Tour de France organization announced.
The details of this ‘Grand Départ’ and the first stages of the 2025 Tour will be revealed in an event that will take place on Thursday, November 30 at 11:30 a.m., in the Charles de Gaulle Hall of the North Prefecture in Lille.
