The 10 best-selling cars in October 2023 in Spain

The Spanish automobile market continues to grow and has already accumulated ten consecutive positive months. And during the month of October, sales of passenger cars and SUVs rose 18.1% compared to the same month in 2022, with a total of 77,892 units registered, according to the Spanish Association of Automobile and Truck Manufacturers (Anfac).

Regarding the accumulated figure for the year (January-October), the market has a total of 789,272 registered units, 18.5% more than in the same period of the previous year but 17% below the data for 2019, the year prior to the pandemic.

The eighth favorite car of Spanish drivers in October was the Nissan Qashqai after reaching 1,597 registered units.

2. MG ZS

After two consecutive months leading the monthly sales ranking in Spain, the MG ZS drops to second place on the podium and is behind the Dacia Sandero, which regains the lead. During the month of October, the Chinese manufacturer sold a total of 2,421 units of the ZS, a model that at the end of October is positioned as the seventh best-selling model so far this year, with a total of 15,151 units registered.

The Dacia Sandero regains leadership in sales in Spain after registering a total of 3,059 units in October. Regarding the annual sales ranking, the Sandero continues to be the absolute leader with 22,714 units registered, placing it ahead of the Seat Arona (19,038 units) and the Peugeot 2008 (16,789 units).
