Talsu NSS/”Krauzers” Dominates in Men’s Floorball Tournament Game

On Sunday, the vice-leader of the tournament, Talsu NSS/”Krauzers” achieved a crushing victory in the men’s tournament game of the “Elvi Floorball League”, while in another match, the Ādažu “SĀC”/”ENFRIHO” team also won a convincing success. Talsa NSS/”Krauzers” defeated RTU/”Rockets” 14:1 (3:0, 3:1, 8:0) on the road.

Among the winners, Toms Akmenlauks stood out with three goals and two assists, Jānis Ragovskis collected six (2+4) points, while Andrejs Škebergs added three accurate shots and an assist. Rainers Grīslītis scored the only goal for RTU/”Rockets”.

Meanwhile, the Ādaži team won 13:6 (4:1, 3:2, 6:3) over “Valmiera” at home. Among the hosts, Alvis Dāle and Kristers Orlovs were the most productive with four goals and two assists, while Niks Nagliņš and Ralfs Stratans added two goals each.

“Rubene” is the leader with 25 points in nine games, Talsu NSS/”Krauzers” scored 23 points in the same matches, while “Masters”/”Ulbroka” is third with 18 points in nine matches.

“Lielvārde”/”FatPipe”, “Valmiera”/”Betsafe”, “Masters”/”Ulbroka”, “Ķekava”/RB&B, Kocēnu “Rubene”, Cēsu “Lekrings”, Talsu NSS/”Krauzers”, ” Irlava”, “Bauska”, Ādažu “SĀC” and Riga RTU/”Rockets”.

This season, the teams play a two-round main tournament, after which the eight strongest teams will enter the playoffs. The quarter-finals and semi-finals in the series will go up to four wins, but the champions and bronze medal winners will be determined in the Super Final, which will take place in “Arena Riga” on April 13, 2024.

In the previous season, “Lielvārde”/”FatPipe” became the champions, beating the floorball players of “Valmiera” 5:4 in the final.
