Surabaya, tvOnenews.com – The Palestinian flag was seen being flown by a number of supporters ahead of the opening of the 2023 U-17 World Cup at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (GBT), Friday (10/11).
Based on direct monitoring at the GBT Stadium, there were three Palestinian flags. It is located in the south stand.
The first Palestinian flag measuring around 3 meters x 5 meters stretched between the gaps in the stands in sectors 19 and 20.
Then, the Palestinian flag is in the southern stands of sector 16. Meanwhile, the third Palestinian flag is in the same place but on the third floor.
Apart from that, many Indonesian supporters waved Red and White flags of various sizes. They also unfurled a large banner in the north stand.
Meanwhile, the opening ceremony was quite lively, featuring singers Aurelie Moremans and Wika Salim.
