This Saturday, November 18, all the young badminton players in the department met for the first Departmental Youth Gathering (RDJ) in Crèches sur Saône.
On the Badminton Club de Saint-Marcel (BCSM) side, no less than 14 young people responded to the call to discover other players from Saône-et-Loire.
In total, around sixty young athletes from the department made the trip, some from Mâcon, Crèches, Couches, Chauffailles, Blanzy and even Epinac.
The Crêchois club has organized more than 360 matches for young people, mainly doubles with doubles formed for the day.
Also, the young people were able to benefit, throughout the day, from the valuable advice of the coaches present on this occasion.
Leaving precisely at 8 a.m. with 2 minibuses (one provided by the Orange Bleue of St-Marcel and a second in private rental), the 3 BCSM facilitators, Stéphane, Franck and Jean-Gabriel accompanied the young people throughout the the day for their greatest pleasure.
Returning at 7 p.m. in the evening, exhausted, all the young people have already arranged to meet for the next stage: the RDJ in Epinac at the start of 2024!
