This Friday the celebration of the Spanish U-17 Badminton Championship began in Ibiza, which is hosted by the island pavilion of Sa Blanca Dona until the 12th.
The first day of the National brought good results for the majority of the young Ibizan representatives who take part in this tournament, achievements that have allowed them to advance in their respective competition tables.
Vicent Martínez, badminton delegate in Ibiza, assured that the day was quite fruitful for the Pitiusan athletes.
«The day went well and there were no surprises. Almost all of the Ibizan players have passed the round. In fact, Sofía García had a very complicated match against one of the best athletes in the Under-17 category, while she was still Under-15, and she won the match,” highlighted Vicent Martínez by way of summary.
