We started well, we had the chance to open the score almost on our first action. As has happened to us too often since the start of the season (Grenoble, Laval, Rodez), we conceded two goals in quick succession. There, lights out. Doubt returns. We already didn’t have a lot of confidence before the match because of our series.
We equalized at the right time, just before half-time. We save furniture without being brilliant. I think we’re off to a good start in the second half. They entered our 16.50 meters once after losing a stupid ball.
Obviously, we take the goal straight away. We chase the score, we stay alive. They have a terrible action just before we equalize. We at least have this merit of not giving up and this satisfaction of going to equalize.
I understand the public’s disappointment, obviously. Now, when we are sick, we need help. It is not easy. You have to be very strong and move forward. It’s going to take a little time. When you don’t know how to run, you have to learn to arch, then to trot and finally to sprint.
I can’t imagine that they lost their qualities in two months. They have to regain confidence, they have to rediscover what made them strong, and things will start again. It won’t happen again with the wave of a magic wand. There are stages. »
