The International Agency for Tennis Integrity confirmed this Thursday the suspension of ten years and six months for the Slovenian chair umpire Marko Ducman for match-fixing.
Ducman, who held the bronze chair umpire badge and had officiated matches in ATP, WTA and ITF tournaments, admitted to having bet on tennis matches and manipulating match information to facilitate bets.
In addition to the suspension, which will last until March 7, 2034, has been fined $75,000of which he will not have to pay 56,250 if he does not reoffend.
