Several stars of the Italian skialp national team, top-level freeriders, the local staff of Milano Cortina 2026 and many off-piste skiing enthusiasts met on Saturday evening at the Ski Trab Bormino party. While the first heavy snow of the season was falling outside, the historic Magnifica Terra company presented the International Team of Athletes and Ambassadors to the public.

An evening of celebration and music, where above all a lot of passion for ski mountaineering emerged in a location known both for being one of the cradles of the discipline and for having always been a hotbed of champions thanks to the local ski club coordinated first by Adriano Greco and now by Davide Canclini.

Alternating at the microphone were freeriders of the caliber of Bruno Mottini and Giuliano Bordoni, the Italian skialp skiers Nicolò Canclini, Robert Antonioli, Giulia Murada, Giulia Compagnoni, the photographer Giacomo Meneghello….

Thanks to the interventions of the experts, the large audience was able to discover how the Bormio community is moving very decisively to make the possibility of trying ski mountaineering in complete safety accessible to beginners or simple enthusiasts. Davide Canclini, manager of the Alta Valtellina Ski Club, went into the details of the Olympic Sprint route, mentioning the fact that this year there will be a stage of the Youth World Cup in Bormio, while the official test event with the Senior World Cup.
