A few days before the Europa League showdown against Rakow Czestochowa (Thursday, 6:45 p.m. in the LIVE ticker >>>), SK Sturm Graz announced the contract extension of two absolute top performers.
The midfield players Alexander Prass and Jon Gorenc Stankovic are committed to the Murstadt team until 2026 and 2027 respectively. Their original working papers were dated until June 2025.
The 22-year-old Prass was on the verge of leaving last summer before a move to the French Ligue 1 to FC Lorient fell through in the final days of the transfer window. In July 2021, the left-footed player moved from FC Liefering to the Blackies, where he developed into an ÖFB team player.
Vice-captain Gorenc Stankovic came to Graz from Huddersfield in 2020 and has since played 142 games for the black and whites.
