Pouilly-sur-Loire. USEP meeting at the gym.. Taking advantage of the participation of middle school students in the school cross-country championship in Nevers, it was schoolchildren from the area who used the Pouillys gymnasium on Wednesday afternoon for a Usep meeting (School Sports Union of the school public).
Seventy CE1-CE2 students from the Tracy, Suilly, Raveau, Marzy and Franc-Nohain de Cosne schools participated in this event based on the theme of opposition games.
The mixed teams made up of children from all schools took turns in four fun workshops, preparatory to sporting activities such as wrestling and judo.
These workshops were led by volunteer teachers affiliated with Usep, helped by accompanying parents.
The children were responsible for both refereeing and timekeeping (with hourglass and bell).
Élie Odouard, departmental delegate of Usep, hosted this gathering, a symbol of the positive dynamics of his association. “We are registering more licensees than before Covid which, as for everyone, hurt us. »
Currently, one in two schools in the department has graduates from Usep.
