The artistic company “Scattered Poets”, Sunday 5 November at 17.30a Bibliopop, with free entry (hear, hear), will present his work “ClanDestini Amori”, between prose and poetry. “Thanks to the idea and direction of Gabriella Rossini, – comments and invites the President of Bibliopop Sergio Santinelli – we will have the possibility of offering a natural connection between our socio-cultural mission, linked to books and cultural diffusion, to this beautiful reality which is Poets Scarsi, who voluntarily propose themselves in the same way as we carry out activities in Bibliopop. I sincerely hope that many members and supporters and citizens, young and old men and women, will attend this event”. To better understand these protagonists, Scattered Poets, we asked them to introduce themselves: “Who are we? – they tell us – We are a group of lovers of poetry, writing and entertainment, all strictly non-professionals in these fields. Some of us have solid theatrical and/or writing experience behind us, others are presenting themselves to the public for the first time. We offer free shows that promote socialization and stimulate intellectual curiosity by reflecting, through poetry, on feelings, emotions, contradictions, hopes, ambiguities of our “human being”. Not a bad opening, and have you already substantiated this path? “We are happy to include performances by guests attending the host facility in our shows. We address schools, community centers, retirement homes, communities, neighborhood parties, multipurpose centers in Rome or surrounding areas. In fact, we propose ourselves as social/cultural volunteering. Our shows are original in various respects. In fact we bring to the stage poems of “own production” interpreted on stage by the author himself. “. Any examples? “We offer themed shows: to date we have already staged: A show with various themes “Love, time and freedom” performed in September 2021 in Santa Maria delle Mole, in the theater. A show on the theme of love “Scintille”, performed on the occasion of Valentine’s Day 2022 in Santa Maria delle Mole, in the theater, and repeated in Rome the following week, in a pub. A show about the cursed poets “Maledetti Poeti Maledetti”, performed in September 2022 in a pub and, in repeat, in December at the Istituto Comprensivo Spizzichino, Via Di Giacomo 13. On this occasion, the students of the middle school classes also composed and proposed poems to the public, together with the Scattered Poets. A show for International Women’s Day, “Prime Donne” performed in Rome on 8 March 2023 at the Parco Shuster multipurpose center. On this occasion, two guests who frequent the structure itself were included in the show. On the 17th of last September the show “ClanDestini Amori” was staged at the family home for adults Il Casale dei Sogni – Castel Madama. The themes of our shows are introduced by a brief narration of the life and curiosities of artists and/or important figures from the world of culture who can best represent the topic covered. In some shows, poems or passages written by the character being spoken about are read, even in the original language. We read poems or short passages in English, French, Latin, ancient Greek, as well as, obviously, in Italian. There is always a guitarist on stage who opens the show and accompanies the reading of the poems.” You can’t miss it, we’ll be waiting for you on Sunday 5th.”
