Sao Paulo is in the racing calendar at least until 2030

Formula 1 will stop in Sao Paulo until at least 2030. The motorsport premier class announced a corresponding contract extension on Friday. “Brazil has such a racing heritage and this iconic circuit is one of the favorites of drivers and fans around the world,” Formula 1 chief executive Stefano Domenicali said in a statement.

The extension will also be accompanied by investments to make the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace more attractive for other entertainment events such as music concerts. The Formula 1 World Championship has been stopping at the Interlagos circuit since 1973.
