San Francisco 49ers Dominate Seattle Seahawks in 31-13 Win at Lumen Field

The San Francisco 49ers largely dominated the debates against the Seattle Seahawks by winning 31-13 Thursday evening at Lumen Field.

The 49ers’ ground game was particularly dominant, especially in the first two quarters. Indeed, the Californian club reached the paying zone three times in the first period, each time thanks to the races of its players.

Deebo Samuel started the proceedings in the first quarter by scoring the first major of the game, then Christian McCaffrey took matters into his own hands by scoring two touchdowns in the second quarter to ultimately give his team a 21-3 lead.

Brandon Aiyuk was the other author of a touchdown for San Francisco.

Less dominant than Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy still managed to score a touchdown pass. He also completed 21 of his 30 attempts through the air for gains of 209 yards.

We can’t say the same thing about his Seahawks counterpart Geno Smith. After a particularly difficult first quarter, the latter recovered by finishing his evening of work with 180 passing yards. The 33-year-old athlete, however, was the victim of six quarterback sacks.

Jordyn Brooks saved his team’s honor by being the only one to reach the 49ers’ end zone during the third quarter.

The 49ers will travel to Philadelphia to face the Eagles on December 3. The Seahawks will face the Cowboys in Dallas on Thursday.
