Wednesday evening, at the Dojo, Raymond Saqué, took place the presentation of the “Gold label” trophy for judo to the Rodez Aveyron Judo club (JRA) by the French judo federation, in the presence of elected officials from the region, the department, the city, sponsors and volunteer leaders. A recognition of the work accomplished by President Daniel Marti and his entire team of managers and supervisors.
Responding to the specifications submitted to the clubs, the JRA, with its 645 licensees and its 9 satellite dojos, positively checked all the boxes allowing it to obtain this distinction. “This is the first time that the federation has awarded us the gold label. With Montpellier we are the only two holders of the Gold label in Occitanie,” assures President Marti. To be eligible for the label, essential criteria are taken into consideration such as the importance of the club, sporting results at all levels, qualified supervision, athlete training, teacher training, referee training and integration. people with disabilities, facilities…
During the trophy presentation, Daniel Marti underlined the importance of supporting communities, without forgetting sponsors. “Without you, it would be impossible to manage such a big club,” he concludes. The JRA, today, can boast of being ranked in the Top 30 of the 5000 clubs in France.
