Risaralda Delegation Ready for 2023 National and Paranational Games

The Risaralda Casta de Campeones delegation is already installed in the different venues where the 2023 National and Paranational Games will begin to be played starting this Saturday.

The first delegation from Risaralda that will debut in the maximum competitions is housed and concentrated in Parque Consotá, these are men’s volleyball, women’s soccer, boxing, cheerleading and cycling. As explained by the Head of Mission, Mario Galeano, “we have 18 sports disciplines in Pereira, of which 15 will be housed in Parque Consotá. We from the administrative side have a great responsibility and that is to make the effort of all the athletes count to make a good representation.”

While in Manizales the first to arrive were the water polo players, who will debut on November 11 against Antioquia, at 10:45 am. Regarding expectations, this was what Jhon Martínez, a water polo member, said: “We come motivated, we are a family “We have the mentality of winning the gold medal and we have trained in the best way.”

In Armenia, the first to arrive were the handball, hapkido and badminton delegations, amidst smiles, singing songs and quite motivated.

“We have felt very well cared for, we are happy, expectations are very high, the team is cohesive and it is time to reap the fruits,” said the handball coach, Diego Riascos.
