Last weekend took place the 8th edition of the end-of-year tournament “Le Ricomagus”, organized by the Riom Badminton-Club.
More than 200 badistas from 13 departments competed on the 6 courts of the Aimé-Césaire gymnasium in Riom during 350 games played in singles and doubles.
Winners. Caroline Varagnat (single lady series 1); Tiffany Couzon (Riom BC) and Eléonore Montavit (Maringues) in women’s doubles series 3; Guillaume Ramelet (single man series 7).
Finalists. Marion Béchu in women’s singles series 1; Manon Thibault de Chanvalon (Riom BC) and Emilie Saint-André (Issoire) in women’s doubles series 2; Clément Croissant in men’s singles series 5; Loïc Legoff-Black and Geoffrey Potel in men’s doubles series 6; François Jamy in men’s singles series 7.
At the same time, 17 players from the club participated in their first youth departmental tournament in Beaumont with the results being a 1st place for the pair Léane Gentilleau/Maëlle Gendre-Chapuis (doubles juniors series 1) completed by 9 podiums in singles and doubles.
