Rennes-Panathinaikos: at what time and on which channel to watch the Europa League match?

A little hope in a complicated time. This is what Rennes’ victory represented in the first leg against Panathinaikos (1-2). Because apart from this victory on Greek soil, Stade Rennais remains in a complicated series to say the least. This is the only victory for the Reds and Blacks in six matches in all competitions.

After another failure in Nice on Sunday (2-0), Bruno Génésio’s men will try to regain confidence this Thursday at home against Panathinaikos. Stuck in a disappointing eleventh position in the league, the Bretons on the contrary monopolize first place in their group in the Europa League. In the event of a victory this week, they would even take a huge option on qualification since they would relegate the Athenians, currently second, to six points behind them.

In the first leg, the Rennais took the match from the right end, first opening the score thanks to Amine Gouiri, then taking the break with a goal from Arnaud Kalimuendo after returning from the locker room. The reduction of the gap signed by Fotis Ioannidis was not enough for the Greeks to get back into the game.

Since this defeat, Panathinaikos has had two successes, and is still in first place in its championship ahead of Olympiakos but also AEK Athens, OM’s opponent this Thursday.

The match between Stade Rennais and Panathinaikos is scheduled to kick off at 6:45 p.m. at Roazhon Park this Thursday, November 9, and the match will be broadcast live on the RMC Sport UHD channel and RMC Sport 1.
