Lega Nazionale Pallacanestro announces that starting from this season, the “Mvp of the month” award for the National Old Wild West Serie B, assigned through voting on LNP’s social channels, will be named after Samuel Dilas.
He passed away prematurely in recent weeks at the age of 24, while continuing his career wearing the Luxarm Lumezzane shirt.
A way to remember a boy who for two seasons had been putting himself in the spotlight in the Serie B tournament, combining his skills as an athlete with a recognition that rewards the best players in the championship for each month of the tournament.
The prizes for the best players in the Italian Cup Final Four and in the various Serie B playoff rounds will also be named after Samuel.
It will be possible to vote for the “Samuel Dilas” MVP of the month of October in the National Serie B starting from 7.30 pm this evening, Thursday 2 November, on the Lega Nazionale Pallacanestro social channels, for 24 hours.
Eligible among players selected by LNP among those who stood out the most, together with their teams, in the first month of the championship.
