BASKETBALL GRADO-BASKETBALL PERTEOLE 60-39
Bad fall for coach Degrassi’s men, who were defeated in the first match of the championship with a heavy 60 – 39. The lagoon players definitely performed well. The red and white Perteole team managed to resist the first half (9-14), and then closed 3 points behind at half time (30-27). Then in the second half, however, the Mamoli clearly prevailed, thus obtaining their first victory of the season. And for the Friulian kids we need to continue working without being discouraged.

BISIACA BASKETBALL-ATHLETISM GORIZIA 64-52
Three readings at the home of Athletismo Gorizia. 26 points conceded in the first quarter, 12 of 24 on free throws, 17 of 55 from the field. Having said that, we only need to congratulate Pallacanestro Bisiaca who is truly a great team and absolutely deserved the victory. The guests have to start again from the recovery, which brought them up to -4 with the happy notes offered by the debuts.

The first match was good for Asar, who definitely didn’t disappoint in front of their fans and took home 2 important points. After trailing for a few minutes at the start of the match, the home team soon found the lead, which they managed to maintain until the end of the match.
A good performance from the two players of the day, Severo and Costi. The former, as usual, teaches basketball from the first to the last minute and confirms himself as the best scorer with 13 points accompanied by 8 rebounds. The second, the only point guard on the list given the absence of Franzoni, found himself playing almost 40 minutes, managing the game with personality, collecting 7 rebounds. Which is not easy given that he is 50 meters tall. Good performance also from the Formoso brothers (who scored important points) and from Pasqualini and Visintin, who showed the right determination in crucial moments to keep their opponents at bay and maintain the distance. Also noteworthy is the debut in the blue and white jersey of the new arrivals, namely Pietro Franco, the Vanone twins, Federico Formoso and Filippo Cabas. However, credit goes to Olimpia, who played a good match.
