Raphael Guerreiro reflects on move from Borussia Dortmund to Bayern Munich

The defensive player also raved about Thomas Tuchel. “He’s one of the reasons I’m here. I know him and I know his methods. He also developed further at the clubs he coached after Dortmund,” he explained: “The fact that I’m now in Munich is also down to him, he was one of several reasons.”

When asked what the coach had changed since his time together at BVB, the Portuguese replied: “Dortmund was his first really big experience. I feel like he was stricter back then. Now he gives his players more freedom while maintaining the fundamentals on the court. I think that makes a difference.”
