This Thursday the dispute for the eighth round of the Qatar Stars League began with two games. One of them was Umm Salal’s 3-1 victory as a visitor against Muaither SC, which included the presence of Uruguayan Ramón “Cachila” Arias as a starter, who was in charge of scoring his team’s only goal.

The Algerian nationalized Frenchman Andy Delort put on the mantle of hero and scored three goals for the visiting team. They tied at 57′, then turned the game around with a penalty at 75′ and closed it at 80′. With this result, Muaither SC is 10th with 4 points, but if Al-Shamal wins or draws this Friday against Al-Ahli, it will fall to the relegation zone; Umm Salal is 6th with 11 units.
