tvOnenews.com – The fate of the Indonesian U-17 national team players who will play in the 2023 U-17 World Cup, Welber Jardim and Amar Brkic, has been decided by PSSI.

Chairman of the National Team Agency (BTN), Sumardji said that it is hoped that the two players will continue to strengthen the Garuda Squad.

“We hope that the two players, Welber and Amar, will remain in the Indonesian national team, according to their wishes,” said Sumardji in the Philippines on Monday (20/11/2023).

Apart from having Indonesian blood from his mother, Welber Jardim is also of Brazilian descent. Brazilian blood obtained from his father.

Welber Jardim is also part of Sao Paulo U-17 in the Brazilian League. This makes it quite close to the Land of Samba.

He also still has the opportunity to strengthen the Brazilian national team in the future, because FIFA rules do not prohibit it.
