Province of Río Negro Dominates in Volleyball, Soccer, and Medal Harvest at Epade Cup

In terms of results, in volleyball, the men’s team won the two matches it had to face this Tuesday (3-1 against Neuquén and 3-0 against Chubut), while in the women’s team, they beat Neuquén 3-0 and fell with La Pampa for the same result.

In soccer, the boys beat La Pampa 1-0, while the girls tied 1-1 with Neuquén in very close matches that kept the crowd expectant until the last minute.

On the basketball side, the men beat Chubut by 85 to 45 and fell to Neuquén by 74 to 70, while the women were defeated by La Pampa by 73 to 54 and by Santa Cruz by 74 to 55, leaving them practically without chances of accessing the semifinals of the discipline.

Regarding the medal harvest, the Province achieved a total of 15 between athletics, judo, cycling and swimming (6 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze), in a competition where the most outstanding athletes of Patagonia , they compete for the long-awaited Epade Cup.

At the adapted level, in the ParaEpade, Río Negro already has 52 medals (26 gold, 17 silver and 9 bronze) between athletics and swimming, still subtracting the definitions of boccia and wheelchair basketball.

The competition continues this Wednesday, the day in which the teams that will advance to the next defining stage in team sports will be known and in which the delegation will seek to add more medals in individual disciplines.
