Professional soccer player Neymar is probably single again: his partner, the mother of their daughter, has announced their separation.
World star Neymar and his partner Bruna Biancardi have separated. The model announced this in a post on Instagram. There had been rumors about the couple breaking up for a long time.
Now Biancardi writes in her Instagram story: “This is a private matter, but since I am often associated with news, suspicions and jokes, I would like to inform you that I am not in a relationship. We are the parents of Mavie and that is the reason for our connection. I hope you will not link me to the news so often anymore. Thank you.”
Their child was born in October
The model did not comment on the reasons for the separation. The couple had officially been together since 2001, but had repeatedly struggled with reports of affairs and infidelities by the 31-year-old in the past.
Just a few months ago, Neymar and Biancardi announced that they were expecting a child. Little Mavi was born on October 7th. However, her birth was overshadowed by reports that the 31-year-old professional soccer player cheated on Biancardi with another woman while she was pregnant.
Neymar was apparently still hoping for a fresh start. In a June post to his 210 million Instagram fans, he posted a picture of himself and his pregnant partner and commented on the allegations. He admitted that he “didn’t do a lot of things right.” In the emotional statement he wrote: “I saw how much you were exposed to this, how much you suffered and how much you wanted to be by my side. Now I stand by you.”

He further wrote: “If the allegations were made public, then the apology must also be public.” At that time he was sure: Love for their unborn child would win and the couple’s love would only grow stronger. He concluded his apology with the words: “I love you.”
Neymar has not yet commented on Biancardi’s recent separation post. In addition to his daughter Mavi, he also has a son Davi Lucca from his previous relationship with the influencer Carolina Dantas.
The former PSG star came from Barcelona in the summer of 2017 for a record fee of 222 million euros and moved to Saudi club Al-Hilal for 90 million euros in the last transfer window.
