Despite a good defense, Claymore (n°9), associated with Ioritz Mendizabal, had to settle for first place, acquired at the expense of the good finisher Palais du Louvre (n° 10). Despite his courage, Intégrant (n° 7) failed at the foot of the podium and was ahead of Merkur (n° 12), who was not expected at such a celebration.
