Philadelphia 76ers Guard Kelly Oubre Jr. Released from Hospital After Being Hit by Car

Philadelphia 76ers guard Kelly Oubre Jr. has been released from the hospital after being hit by a car in downtown Philadelphia on Saturday evening, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 76ers player was walking near his residence when the accident occurred. He was taken to hospital quickly.

ESPN also mentioned that several representatives of the 76ers were present with him at the hospital, including president Daryl Morey. Oubre is expected to return to action this season, but he will miss a large portion of the season due to injuries.

Local law enforcement is currently investigating the accident.

Oubre joined the Sixers in the offseason and has played an important role quickly this season. The guard started five of the eight games he played, averaging 16.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in an average of 29 minutes played per game.
