The defeat was the third in a row and the fourth overall in the sixth appearance for Phoenix, in which Kevin Durant, in particular, defended himself against the negative trend with 31 points and eight rebounds – but ultimately was unable to compensate for the renewed failure of Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.
