Day to remember that Pere Tomàs experienced this Sunday. The Coviran Granada forward, after adding 15 minutes in the duel between his team and MoraBanc Andorra, has reached 8,000 played in the Endesa League.
Not only that, but he has surpassed them, reaching a total of 8,010 minutes on an acb track.
16 seasons have passed since February 16 when Pere Tomàs debuted in the highest category of Spanish basketball. It was an almost testimonial performance, after remaining on the Badalona Olimpic field for just over a minute (1:12), but it was the beginning of a tally that has led him to surpass a figure not within the reach of many.
In this time, he has worn the jersey of six different teams (Joventut, Bàsquet Manresa, the then CAI Zaragoza, Bilbao Basket, Gipuzkoa Basket and, now, Coviran Granada), having played most of those minutes with the green-black team.
