Pas Ras al Port will serve as the setting for the Autonomous 10K

On Sunday, December 17, one of the most beloved events of popular Valencian athletics will be held: the Pas Ras al Port of Valencia, a spectacular 10K that runs along the Paseo Marítim and La Marina and which this Tuesday, November 21, will be presented at the Corte Inglés of Avenida de Francia.

The test will begin at 9:00 a.m. and consists of an approved 10,000-meter circuit that, as announced by Manuel Garsando, president of CA Poblats Marítims, the organizing club, “this year will serve as the framework for the Absolute Autonomous 10K Championship.” Registration is going at a very good pace and is already close to 1,900: “this year records are being broken since there are still more than three weeks left until the test.” Female registration currently reaches 32% of the total, a figure that CA Poblats Maritims wants to increase: “In order for female participation to increase, we have introduced a novelty: we will reward the club with the most women at the finish line,” Garsando announced. As is tradition, there will also be a special classification for port workers. The presentation was also attended by Pau Pérez Rico, Regional Director of Communication, Sustainability and Institutional Relations of El Corte Inglés; Marta Vilallonga, chief of staff of the presidency of the Port Authority of Valencia; Manuel Garsando, president of the Poblats Marítims Athletics Club, and Paco Prado, president of APORTEM, an entity supporting the event.
