Published in Association News

Ole Bischof is a name that is not only known in judo circles. The native of Reutlingen has been associated with the Bavarian Judo Association for a long time. This is not only due to his active involvement in the Bundesliga team TSV Abensberg. His sporting successes, Olympic gold in 2008 in Beijing, Olympic silver in 2012 in London, World Cup bronze in 2009 in Rotterdam, European champion in 2005 in Rotterdam, to name just the most important titles, speak a language of their own. For his services to the sport of judo but also his social commitment, such as as Vice President of the DOSB, Ole Bischof was awarded the 6th Dan at a reception on the occasion of the U23 European Championships in Potsdam last Saturday.

The Bavarian Judo Association is pleased to have Ole at home in its ranks and warmly congratulates him on this honor.
